SEATTLE, May 18 (UPI) -- Jose Lopez drove in Seattle's runs in a 3-2 win Sunday over the San Diego Padres.
Lopez smacked a two-run double to send the Mariners ahead in the eighth inning and sent home another run with a ground ball in the first.

Ichiro Suzuki scored a run and stole two bases to become the Mariners' all-time stolen-base leader with 291
Arthur Rhodes (2-0) was the winner in relief, pitching just one-third of an inning. J.J. Putz got his fifth save of the season.
Adrian Gonzalez belted a two-run home run for the Padres, who have lost five of their last seven games.
Heath Bell (0-3) took the loss, allowing two runs on three hits in 1 1/3 innings.
