SAN JOSE, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- The Columbus Crew cruised into first place in the Eastern Conference Saturday after Robbie Rogers scored two goals in a 3-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Columbus scored all three of its goals in a 10-minute span in the second half. Brad Evans' first MLS goal tied the score at 1-1.

Ramiro Corrales had put San Jose up 1-0 at halftime.
The Crew's fifth straight win put them two points ahead of Chicago. It's the team's longest win streak in a decade.
