BROKEN ARROW, Okla., May 2 (UPI) -- Paula Creamer, one of only four players to have won on the LPGA Tour this year, took a one-shot lead Friday at the SemGroup Championship in Broken Arrow, Okla.
Lorena Ochoa, the world's top-ranked player who is on a four-tournament winning streak, found herself six shots off the lead in a tie for 21st place after shooting a 75.
Creamer shot an even-par 71 on another windy day at the Cedar Ridge Country Club and finished 36 holes at 1-under 141.
First-round leader Hee Young Park was in a tie for fifth at 144 after shooting a 75.
Creamer suffered a bogey to close her round, but was still in good position to win her second title of the season. She claimed the crown at the Fields Open in Hawaii.
"I'm pleased with how I played today," Creamer said. "I didn't feel like I hit the ball as solid as I did yesterday. I hit some loose drives out there."
