MLB: Phila. 6, San Francisco 5 (10 inn.)

PHILADELPHIA, May 2 (UPI) -- Pat Burrell hit a two-out, two-run homer in the 10th inning Friday, rallying the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6-5 victory over San Francisco.

San Francisco took a 5-4 lead in the top of the 10th on a homer by Aaron Rowand, and Brian Wilson took the mound in the bottom half of the inning in an attempt to protect the lead.

With one away, however, Wilson (0-1) gave up a single to Chase Utley. Ryan Howard then struck out, but Burrell sent a 3-2 fastball into the left field seats.

Utley had two hits, one of them a two-run homer, helping Philadelphia win for the ninth time in 12 games. Pedro Feliz also had a two-run homer for the Phillies.

J.C. Romero (2-0) got the win despite giving up a run on three hits in the 10th.

San Francisco's John Bowker had his first career four-hit game. The Giants out-hit the Phillies 16-8.
