NHL: Dallas 5, San Jose 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 28 (UPI) -- Niklas Hagman scored twice for the Dallas Stars, who came from behind Sunday and beat San Jose 5-2 to take a two-game lead in their semifinal playoff series.

Dallas, which trailed 2-1 after two periods, scored four goals in the third.

Brad Richards, Mike Ribeiro and Mike Modano also scored for the Stars. Richards had three assists.

Richards, Modano and Hagman got their goals in the third. Hagman's second was an empty-netter with 1:15 to play.

Marty Turco made 29 saves for Dallas.

Joe Pavelski and Milan Michalek scored and goaltender Evgeni Nabokov registered 25 saves for the Sharks.

The Stars take a 2-0 into Game 3 of the Western Conference series Tuesday in Dallas.
