MLB: Houston 10, San Diego 3

HOUSTON, April 21 (UPI) -- Miguel Tejada was 4-for-5 with a homer, double, and three RBI Monday to lead the Houston Astros to a 10-3 win over the San Diego Padres.

Hunter Pence went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI, and Lance Berkman hit a three-run homer for the Astros, who had 13 hits and more runs than they had in any other single game all season.

Roy Oswalt (2-3) gave up three runs on six hits and two walks, and struck out six in seven innings for Houston.

Justin Germano (0-2) allowed all of Houston's 10 runs on 10 hits in just 3 1/3 innings.

Jim Edmonds and Adrian Gonzalez each hit a solo homer for San Diego, which has lost five of its last six games.
