NHL: Calgary 2, San Jose 0

CALGARY, Alberta, April 20 (UPI) -- Goalie Miikka Kiprusoff and the Calgary Flames shut out the San Jose Sharks 2-0 Sunday, tying their Western Conference playoff series at 3-3.

The concluding game will be played Tuesday in San Jose.

Kiprusoff, recording the sixth playoff shutout of his NHL career, turned away seven shots in the final period.

Calgary's Owen Nolan scored with 8:27 left in the first period and David Langkow got the second goal on a wrist shot with just under a minute left in the second.

Evgeni Nabokov had 23 saves for the Sharks.
