MLB: Baltimore 6, N.Y. Yankees 0

BALTIMORE, April 19 (UPI) -- Brian Burres and Jim Johnson combined on a six-hit shutout Saturday and the Baltimore Orioles downed the New York Yankees 6-0.

Brian Fahey started the scoring with an RBI double in the second. Baltimore scored three times in the third, once on Kevin Millar's solo homer, to build a comfortable 4-0 lead. Aubrey Huff added a two-run double in the seventh.

Millar, Fahey and Ramon Hernandez all had two hits in the Orioles' third win in a row.

Burres (2-1) hurled 5 2/3 scoreless innings with four walks and two strikeouts.

Johnson earned his first save this season after allowing one hit over the final 3 1/3 innings.

Alex Rodriguez had two of the six hits for the Yankees, who have lost three in a row.

Losing pitcher Ian Kennedy (0-2) gave up four earned runs and five hits in 2 2/3 innings with five walks and four strikeouts.
