NBA: Detroit 115, Minnesota 103

DETROIT, April 16 (UPI) -- Jarvis Hayes scored 20 points Tuesday, pacing the Detroit Pistons to a 115-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The victory secured the second-best record in the NBA for the Pistons.

Richard Hamilton added 18 points for Detroit, which has won three in a row .

The Pistons have locked up the second-seed in the Eastern Conference and will face the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.

Al Jefferson had 30 points and nine rebounds for Minnesota. Rashad McCants added 19.
