MLB: Philadelphia 4, Houston 3

PHILADELPHIA, April 15 (UPI) -- Pedro Feliz's RBI double capped a four-run ninth inning Tuesday and the Philadelphia Phillies rallied to beat the Houston Astros 4-3.

The Phillies had just four hits going into the ninth, but pounded Houston closer Jose Valverde (2-1).

Pinch hitter Chris Snelling hit a solo home run, and Pat Burrel a two-run homer to tie the game 3-3.

Valverde struck out Geoff Jenkins on a full count, but catcher Brad Ausmus didn't handle the low pitch and Jenkins reached first on the passed ball. Feliz then lined a shot down the third-base line and the ball rolled into the left field corner.

Shawn Chacon pitched eight innings of shutout ball, allowing only four hits and two walks while striking out five before yielding to Valverde.
