MLB: Arizona 8, San Francisco 2

SAN FRANCISCO, April 15 (UPI) -- Conor Jackson had a home run and three RBI Tuesday to carry the Arizona Diamondbacks to an 8-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants.

Chris Young had a two-run homer and scored two runs, and Eric Byrnes had an RBI and a run scored for the Diamondbacks.

Micah Owings (3-0) won his fifth straight start, which dates back to last season. He gave up one run on three hits in six innings.

Aaron Rowand and Jose Castillo each drove in a run for the Giants. Kevin Correia (1-2) suffered the loss after allowing five runs on five hits in six innings.

Tuesday was the 50th anniversary of baseball in San Francisco. The Giants, who moved from New York, played their first home game in San Francisco against the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 15, 1958.
