NBA: Detroit 91, Toronto 84

AUBURN HILLS, Minn., April 13 (UPI) -- Led by reserve Rodney Stuckey's 18 points Sunday, the Detroit Pistons slipped past the Toronto Raptors 91-84.

Stuckey scored 10 points in the pivotal fourth quarter when Toronto refused to fold under Detroit's intense defensive pressure and his two free throws with 36 seconds remaining sealed the victory.

Chauncey Billups and Jason Maxiell scored 14 points apiece, while Richard Hamilton scored 12 with three rebounds and three assists for the Pistons, who will be the No. 2 Eastern Conference seed when the playoffs begin Saturday.

They got 48 points from their bench.

Toronto was led by Chris Bosh's 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Rasho Nesterovic scored 18 with seven rebounds, while T.J. Ford added 10 points and eight assists for the Raptors, who dropped into a tie with idle Philadelphia for the East's sixth seed.
