CLEVELAND, April 13 (UPI) -- Grady Sizemore knocked in two runs with three hits Sunday, lifting the Cleveland Indians over the Oakland Athletics 7-1.
His fifth-inning single drove in one run and a single with the bases loaded in the eighth accounted for two others. Cleveland, leading 3-1, scored four times in the eighth.
Oakland had won five in a row.
Losing pitcher Chad Gaudin (0-1) surrendered three earned runs and four hits in six innings. Reliever Fernando Hernandez gave up four runs in the eighth.
