MLB: Cleveland 4, Los Angeles Angels 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 9 (UPI) -- Travis Hafner hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning Tuesday, handing the Cleveland Indians a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angeles.

Hafner's effort backed the complete-game pitching performance by Jake Westbrook, who allowed three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out four for his first win of the season.

Asdrubal Cabrera drove in the Indians' other runs.

Gary Matthews drove in one Los Angeles run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Vladimir Guerrero followed with a two-run homer. Chone Figgins and Erick Aybar each had two hits.

Angels starter Ervin Santana allowed two runs on six hits and three walks. Justin Speier (0-1) took the loss, giving up the two-run homer in his 1 1/3 innings of work
