VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 6 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla scored his 50th goal of the season and assisted on two other scores Saturday in the Calgary Flames' 7-1 rout of Vancouver.
The Flames finished the regular season with 94 points, just ahead of the Colorado Avalanche for the sixth playoff spot in the Western Conference. Colorado can improve its position with a victory Sunday in its season finale against Minnesota.
Iginla finished the 2007-08 season with a career-high 98 points on 50 goals and 48 assists.
Eric Nystrom finished with two goals and two assists and David Moss had a goal and an assist for the Flames, who wrapped up the season with two wins in their last three games. Curtis Joseph stopped 27 shots.
Byron Ritchie scored for the Canucks, who ended the season with a three-game losing streak. Roberto Luongo allowed three goals on nine shots before being pulled in the first period for Curtis Sanford, who let in four goals on 19 shots.
