BALTIMORE, April 6 (UPI) -- Luis Hernandez singled in a run to finish off a three-run ninth-inning Baltimore rally that beat the Seattle Mariners 3-2 Sunday.
Seattle's Felix Hernandez had tossed an eight-inning shutout before the Orioles got to relievers Eric O'Flaherty and Mark Low in the ninth.
Nick Markakis began the Baltimore comeback with a lead-off double to left field, Markakis eventually scored on a groundout and Adam Johnes on a passed ball before Hernandez delivered his game-winning hit.
Luke Scott had three hits for Baltimore, which has won four straight games. Dennis Sarfate (1-0) got the win.
Lowe (0-1), who allowed two hits and a run during the Baltimore rally, took the loss.
Raul Ibanez had three hits, including a home run, for Seattle.
