NBA: Charlotte 105, Toronto 100

TORONTO, April 4 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson led Charlotte with 27 points Friday and boosted the Bobcats to a 105-100 win over playoff-bound Toronto.

Despite the Raptors' setback, they clinched a post-season berth when the New Jersey Nets fell to Detroit. Toronto, however, slipped to seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Raymond Felton added 21 points and seven assist for Charlotte, which halted a two-game skid. The Bobcats have trailed in each of their last three road games going into the fourth quarter and have come back to win them all.

Toronto was paced by 23 points from both Chris Bosh and Rasho Nesterovic. It was a season high for Nesterovic.

The Raptors had a chance to take the lead in the final minute, only to have T.J. Ford commit a turnover. Earl Boykins followed with a three-point play for Charlotte with 41 seconds remaining.
