BALTIMORE, April 4 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora had a two-run homer and Luis Hernandez drove in two runs Friday to pace the Baltimore Orioles to a 7-4 victory over Seattle.
Baltimore won its second straight thanks in part to three-hit nights from Ramon Hernandez and Kevin Millar. Both had a solo homer and both scored twice.

Steve Trachsel (1-0) picked up the victory, giving up four hits and two runs over 5 2/3 innings. George Sherrill retired the last two batters in the ninth for his second save.
Seattle got two-run homers from Adrian Beltre and Richie Sexson.
Jarrod Washburn (0-1) surrendered three runs on six hits in five innings to take the loss.
Mora's homer came during a three-run seventh inning that boosted Baltimore's advantage to 6-2.
