MLB: Miami 5, N.Y. Mets 4 (10 innings)

MIAMI, April 1 (UPI) -- Robert Andino's first major league home run in the bottom of the 10th Tuesday handed the Florida Marlins a 5-4 victory over the New York Mets.

Andino's homer against Matt Wise (0-1) made a winner of Justin Miller (1-0), who gave up one hit in a scoreless inning.

Dan Uggla hit a two-run home run and Luis Gonzalez added a solo shot for the Marlins.

Pedro Martinez of the Mets gave up four runs on four hits in 3 1/3 innings. He injured his left leg on a pitch during the fourth frame and was helped off the field by the team trainer. The diagnosis was a strained left hamstring.

Brian Schneider went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Angel Pagan drove in a pair of runs for the Mets.
