NBA: Portland 102, Washington 82

PORTLAND, Ore., March 26 (UPI) -- Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw stepped up their games Tuesday, combining for 43 points in Portland's 102-82 victory over Washington.

Webster scored 23 points and Outlaw contributed 20 as the Blazers overcame injuries to Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, who had been averaging nearly 37 points per game combined.

Portland's bench out-scored Washington's 42-28, helping the Blazers to their third win in four games.

Caron Butler scored 19 points and Antonio Daniels added 14 for the Wizards, who have a half-game lead on Philadelphia for the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Wizards shot under 36 percent from the field.
