Webber, who turned 35 March 1, signed a deal for the prorated veteran's minimum of $1.2 million, which amounted to a little less than $600,000 for the rest of the season. However, he saw time in only nine games for the Warriors due to a sore left knee. He last played March 2.

Last season, Webber split time in Philadelphia and Detroit, appearing in 61 games.

Webber, out of Michigan where he was part of the so-called Fab Five, started his NBA career with Golden State in 1993-94. That year he was named Rookie of the Year.

Webber ends his career with averages of 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists over 831 games.
