Pittsburgh, seeking its first division title since winning the Northeast in 1998, has 95 points, four better than the Devils in the Atlantic Division, and just one back of Eastern Conference-leading Montreal.

Marian Hossa also scored for Pittsburgh, which played its seventh consecutive game without Sidney Crosby, out with a right ankle sprain. Pittsburgh has won eight of its last 11 games.

Martin Brodeur blocked 18 of 19 shots for New Jersey, which has been outscored 14-3 in going 0-3-1 in its last four games. It's the second time the Devils have gone winless in four straight games this season.
