NHL: Anaheim 2, Phoenix 1

GLENDALE, Ariz., March 23 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne had two goals Saturday night, including the 550th of his NHL career, to lead the Anaheim Ducks past Phoenix 2-1.

Selanne passed Ron Francis to take 23rd place on the all-time NHL scoring list -- and became the fifth-leading scorer among active players.

Jonas Hiller made 30 saves for the Ducks, who have four wins in their last five games and are fourth in the Western Conference with 94 points -- five points behind San Jose for the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Ed Jovanovski scored and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 13 shots for the Coyotes, who lost their fifth straight game and are six points behind Colorado for the final playoff spot in the West.

Selanne's 550th NHL goal came on the power play on a feed from Doug Weight with the scored tied 1-1 at 10:40 of the third period.
