NBA: Denver 109, Toronto 100

TORONTO, March 23 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson had 36 points, Carmelo Anthony 33, and both hit late free throws for the Denver Nuggets Sunday in a 109-100 come-from-behind win over Toronto.

A 9-0 run that included two free throws each by Iverson and Anthony pushed the Nuggets ahead with under two minutes to play. They had trailed after each of the first three quarters.

J.R. Smith added 14 points for Denver and Kenyon Martin had 10 points, six rebounds, three blocks and a couple of late-game steals.

Toronto's Chris Bosh just missed a triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Jose Calderon also had 17 points and Andrea Bargnani scored 16.

The Raptors have lost six of their last seven games.
