Cink leads suspended PODS Championship

PALM HARBOR, Fla., March 8 (UPI) -- Stewart Cink turned in a 2-under 69 for a tentative lead Saturday at the PGA's darkness-suspended PODS Championship.

Cink birdied three holes in a row from the 10th, then ended his third round with a bogey at the 18th before play was suspended due to darkness.

He was at 5-under 208 for a two-shot lead over Geoff Ogilvy, who also carded a 69 Saturday and was in the clubhouse at 3-under 210.

Saturday's play began with the completion of the second round in the morning after it was pushed back by heavy storms Friday.

Brandt Snedeker held the second-round lead when it was completed in the morning, but was 2-over par in the third round when play was suspended about 7 p.m. EST.

Snedeker and Billy Mayfair were both at 3-under through 15 holes, while Sean O'Hair (71) and Tom Pernice, Jr. (71) were in at 2-under 211.

Defending champion Mark Calcavecchia was 1-under through 16 holes.
