COL BKB: Notre Dame 67, South Fla. 60

TAMPA, Fla., March 8 (UPI) -- Luke Harangody had 21 points and nine rebounds Saturday when 19th-ranked Notre Dame survived a late rally by South Florida to win 67-60.

Rob Kurz added 14 points for Notre Dame (24-6, 14-4 Big East), which has won six of its last seven games.

The Fighting Irish have a first-round bye in the Big East Tournament, and will be off until their quarterfinal matchup Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

Dominique Jones had 20 points and seven rebounds for South Florida (12-19, 3-15), which finished its season with five losses in its last six games. The Bulls failed to qualify for the Big East Tournament.
