ST. LOUIS, March 8 (UPI) -- Adam Emmenecker had 20 points and 11 assists Saturday, leading 21st-ranked Drake to a 75-67 win over Creighton in the Missouri Valley Tournament.
The Bulldogs will face either Northern Iowa or Illinois State in Sunday's championship game.
Josh Young had 16 points and Leonard Houston had 14 points and seven rebounds for top-seeded Drake (27-4), which has won three straight. Klayton Korver had 13 points and Jonathan Cox 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
P'Allen Stinnett scored 18 points to lead defending champion Creighton (21-10). Booker Woodfox and Dane Watts had 13 points each, and Cavel Witter scored 11 points for the Bluejays.
The Bulldogs made their first appearance in the semifinal round of the MVC tourney since 1993 and go into the final for the first time.
