COL BKB: Drake 73, Wichita State 63

DES MOINES, Iowa, March 1 (UPI) -- Klayton Korver made five three-pointers and totaled 19 points Saturday to pace the 20th-ranked Drake Bulldogs in a 73-63 win over Wichita State.

Adam Emmenecker added 14 points and eight assists for Drake (25-4, 15-3 MVC), which had lost three of five after a 22-1 start. Leonard Houston had 14 points for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title and improved a 14-1 on their home court under first-year head coach Keno Davis.

P.J. Couisnard scored 20 points for Wichita State (11-19, 4-14), which has dropped five of its last six games. Matt Braeuer had 16 points for the Shockers and Ramon Clemente had 11 points and 17 rebounds.
