NHL: Toronto 4, Florida 3 (SO)

SUNNYVALE, Fla., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Tomas Kaberle delivered the lone goal of a shootout Wednesday, giving Toronto a 4-3 victory over Florida.

Toronto grabbed an unlikely win thanks, in part, to a goal with 68 seconds remaining in regulation by Mats Sundin.

Sundin came onto the ice as an extra attacker when goaltender Vesa Toskala went to the bench and almost immediately scored the tying goal. Sundin fired a shot from the high slot that deflected off Florida goaltender Tomas Vokoun and into the net.

Kaberle then beat Vokoun between the pads in the first round of the shootout and Florida could not get the best of Toskala.

Toronto won its third straight and its fifth out of six. Sundin scored twice and Toskala made 36 saves.

Florida has five losses in its last six outings.
