PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen's power-play goal in overtime Saturday lifted the Florida Panthers over the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1.
Philadelphia led 1-0 after two periods on Daniel Briere's 22nd goal at 16:20 of the second.
Florida's Jay Bouwmeester tied it 1-1 with his 12th goal with just four seconds left in the third creating the overtime.
Netminder Craig Anderson stopped 40 of 41 shots for the Panthers, who broke a three-game losing streak while handing the Flyers a franchise record 10th straight loss.
Antero Niittymaki yielded two goals on 25 shots for the Flyers, who have not won since beating the Thrashers 3-2 in Atlanta Feb. 5.
They lost nine in a row from Dec. 2-27, 2006, and despite their ineptitude, they began the contest just two points out of an Eastern Conference playoff spot.
