NBA: Washington 110, Charlotte 95

WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- DeShawn Stevenson scored 20 points and sank two key three-pointers in the fourth period Saturday to lead the Washington Wizards past Charlotte 110-95.

Stevenson made back-to-back treys when Charlotte closed to 95-87 with 4:41 left in the contest.

All-star Antawn Jamison led the winners with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Brendan Haywood had 15 points, seven rebounds and a career-high five assists.

Andray Blatche registered 13 points and eight rebounds while Antonio Daniels added 10 points for the Wizards, who have won just twice in their last 12 games.

They trailed 52-51 at the half but built an 84-71 lead in the fourth.

Jason Richardson led Charlotte with 25 points and five rebounds. Emeka Okafor had 17 points and 13 rebounds. Jeff McInnis was the only other player in double figures with 12 points for the Bobcats, who have lost seven straight road contests.

Forward Gerald Wallace will miss at least two weeks after his fourth concussion this season.
