COL BKB: UCLA 56, USC 46

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Darren Collison scored 14 points and Kevin Love had 13 points, 11 rebounds and five steals Sunday, spurring No. 6 UCLA to a 56-46 win over the USC Trojans.

The Bruins (22-3, 10-2 Pac-10) avenged a 72-63 January loss to USC.

USC, trailing by 12 points with 10 minutes to play, closed to within six but could not catch up, hitting only one field goal in the last 8 1/2 minutes.

Taj Gibson collected 16 points and 12 rebounds and Dwight Lewis also scored 16 for USC (15-9, 6-6).

The Trojans were without guard Daniel Hackett, who has a stress fracture in his lower back that could keep him out for the rest of the season.
