NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Tom Jenkins had an 8-under 64 Saturday to build a two-stroke lead after two rounds of the seniors ACE Group Classic in Florida.
Jenkins, a seven-time winner on the Champions Tour, completed 36 holes at 12-under 132.
Five players -- Nick Price (66), Scott Hoch (66), Ron Streck (66), Gary Koch (67) and Peter Jacobsen (68) -- are tied for second place at 10-under 134.
"I made a lot of threes today," Jenkins said. "At one point, I was thinking of (shooting) my age. It was a good, solid round."
Jenkins leads for the 11th time after 36 holes. He went on to win four of those events, including the 2006 SAS Championship, when the final round was washed out by rain.
