UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Trent Hunter had a goal and two assists Tuesday to lift the New York Islanders back into the win column with a 4-3 victory over Philadelphia.
Ruslan Fedotenko added a goal and an assist against his former team and Rick DiPietro made 26 stops for the Islanders, who ended a seven-game losing streak.

Danny Briere and Joffrey Lupul each had a goal and an assist for Philadelphia, which has lost four in a row. Antero Niittymaki made 43 saves for the Flyers.
