NBA: Houston 108, Atlanta 89

HOUSTON, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 28 points and nine rebounds Saturday to lead the Houston Rockets to a 108-89 rout of the Atlanta Hawks.

The Rockets held a 31-21 lead after the first quarter, increased it to 56-31 at the break, and never looked back. Their largest lead was 81-49 with 1:34 remaining in the third.

Tracy McGrady had 15 points and eight assists. Luis Scola had 14 points and nine rebounds and Bonzi Wells added 11 points and six assists for the Rockets, who have won six in a row and 15 of their last 18 games.

Atlanta was led by Josh Childress' 18 points and four rebounds. Zaza Pachulia registered 11 points and nine rebounds and was the only other player in double figures for the Hawks, who have lost nine in a row and 15 of 16 at Houston.
