TORONTO, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Nik Antropov's goal 1:02 into overtime Saturday lifted the Toronto Maple Leafs past the Detroit Red Wings 3-2.

The OT was needed after Toronto's Mats Sundin scored his 23rd this season, which created a 2-2 deadlock at the 13:35 mark of the third period.

Darcy Tucker scored once, Tomas Kaberle had two assists and Vesa Toskala stopped 32 of 34 Detroit shots for the Maple Leafs, who have won three of their last four games.

Detroit got one goal each from Nicklas Lidstrom and Mikael Samuelsson.

Dominik Hasek yielded three goals after 25 shots for the Red Wings, who have dropped two in a row following an eight-game winning streak.

It was Detroit's first visit to Toronto since a 5-2 setback on Dec. 6, 2003.

Detroit's Dan Cleary was struck in the face by a shot midway through the first and left the contest.
