ATLANTA, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Alexei Zhitnik's unassisted goal at 1:26 of overtime Saturday boosted the Atlanta Thrashers over the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1.
It was Zhitnik's second goal of the season.

The contest ended regulation in a 1-1 tie after Atlanta's Marian Hossa scored his 24th at 4:18 of the third. Tampa Bay's Vincent Lecavalier opened the scoring at 12:48 of the second with his 32nd goal.
Kari Lehtonen stopped 27 of 28 shots for the Thrashers, who ended a two-game skid during their four-game road trip.
Johan Holmqvist allowed two goals on 22 shots for the Lightning, who had won three of their previous four games and six in a row on the road.
