NBA: Philadelphia 101, LA Clippers 80

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Reserve Louis Williams scored 18 points Saturday when the Philadelphia 76ers trounced the Los Angeles Clippers 101-80.

The 76ers held a slim 29-25 after the first 12 minutes, but a 17-6 spurt led to a 59-40 halftime lead.

By the time Andre Iguodala made a two-point basket with just over a minute elapsed in the third, the lead swelled to 62-42. The Clippers were barely competitive from that point.

Andre Miller registered 17 points and nine assists and Samuel Dalembert had 16 points and six rebounds.

Iguodala had 15 points and seven assists, and Willie Green scored 11 for the 76ers, who have won three in a row and five of their last seven games.

Los Angeles was led by Corey Maggette's 26 points. Cuttino Mobley scored 19, while Al Thornton added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost four of six.
