COL BKB: Drake 73, Evansville 65

DES MOINES, Iowa, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Jonathan Cox scored 21 points Saturday to lead the 15th-ranked Drake Bulldogs past Evansville 73-65 for their 21st straight victory.

Leonard Houston added 15 points and seven rebounds for Drake (22-1, 13-0 MVC), which hasn't lost since a 72-66 decision to No. 23 St. Mary's (Calif.) in early November.

Shy Ely led Evansville (7-16, 2-11) with 18 points. Jay Couisnard was the only other Ace to score in double figures, with 11 points.
