NHL: Tampa Bay 2, Nashville 1

NASHVILLE, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Vinny Prospal scored 58 seconds into overtime Thursday, giving Tampa Bay a 2-1 victory over Nashville.

Brad Richards put a shot on goal that was stopped by Dan Ellis, but the puck came right to Prospal and he found the net to give the Lightning their third win in four games.

Richards scored Tampa Bay's regulation goal and Johan Holmqvist made 18 saves.

Nashville, which had won its previous three games, got its only goal from Alexander Radulov.

Tampa Bay extended its road winning streak to six games in what was the first meeting between these teams since December, 2005.
