DETROIT, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Patrick O'Sullivan touched off a four-goal, fourth-period outburst Thursday, rallying Los Angeles to a 5-3 win over Detroit.
Detroit had an eight-game winning streak halted despite carrying a two-goal lead into the third period.
O'Sullivan brought the Kings within one by scoring just 39 seconds into the frame by grabbing a loose rebound and flipping a shot over the blocker of goaltender Chris Osgood.
Frolov tied it at 6:15 with a power-play goal and the Kings moved in front with 6:53 to play on a shot by Stuart from the point.
Henrik Zetterberg scored twice for Detroit, running his season total to 33.
