NHL: Chicago 3, Calgary 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Nikolai Khabibulin made 26 saves Thursday in helping Chicago end a five-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over Calgary.

Patrick Sharp had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks and they also came up with goals from Duncan Keith and Yanic Perreault.

Calgary's only goal came from Adrian Aucoin. Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 25 shots for the Flames, losers of three out of four.

Neither side could score until 7:14 of the second, when Keith blasted a one-timer from the top of the right circle past Kiprusoff.

Calgary tied with 8:30 remaining in the period, but the Blackhawks took the lead for good thanks to a blast from Sharp.

Perreault added an empty-netter in the game's final seconds.
