DENVER, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Korver made four free throws in the final 19 seconds Wednesday and Utah survived a last-second shot to defeat Denver 118-115.
Utah won its 10th straight and expanded its lead over Denver in the Northwest Division to two games.
After Allen Iverson put Denver ahead by a point with 38 seconds to play, Utah's Deron Williams missed a jump shot. But Carlos Boozer claimed the offensive rebound, leading to two free throws with 19 seconds left by Korver.
Iverson then missed a jumper with seven seconds to go and Boozer again grabbed a rebound. Korver was fouled with three seconds left and his two free throws accounted for the final score.
Anthony Carter failed to connect on a three-point attempt at the buzzer. The Nuggets had a three-game winning streak snapped.
Williams led Utah with 29 points and Korver had 27. Iverson paced Denver with 34 and Carmelo Anthony had 29.
