NHL: Tampa Bay 5, St. Louis 4

ST. LOUIS, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Martin St.Louis scored a goal and two assists, and four teammates also tallied goals Tuesday in Tampa Bay's 5-4 victory over St. Louis.

Tampa Bay surged to the win by scoring three unanswered goals in the third period, breaking a 2-2 tie. It was the Lighting's first win in 11 tries in St.Louis, dating back to Oc.t 13, 1992, their first season in the NHL.

Besides St. Louis, Tampa Bay got goals from Paul Ranger, Jason Ward, Nick Tarnasky and Craig MacDonald. Johan Holmqvist came up a winner despite giving up four goals on 25 shots.

The Blues' goals came from Brad Boyes, Keith Tkachuk, Jamal Mayers and David Perron. Manny Legace had 19 saves.
