NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Luke Harangody scored 22 points Wednesday and No. 21 Notre Dame pulled away late in the first half to overpower Seton Hall 95-69.
Kyle McAlarney added 19 points and Rob Kurz had 17 for Notre Dame (17-4, 7-2 Big East). Since opening the season at 2-2, the Fighting Irish have run off 15 victories in 17 games.
Seton Hall (15-8, 5-5) was led by Jeremy Hazell with 26 points. The Pirates lost their second straight after having won five in a row.
The Pirates were within four eight minutes into the contest, but Notre Dame closed out the first half on a 31-15 run.
Harangody made 10 of 15 shots from the field and Notre Dame shot 54 percent overall.
