EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Brenden Morrow had a goal and an assist Friday in helping the Dallas Stars overcome an early deficit and defeat Edmonton 4-1.
The Stars moved past idle San Jose into first place in the Pacific Division.
After trailing at the end of one period, Dallas scored twice each in the second and third to win their second straight. Stephane Robidas, Jussi Jokinen and Steve Ott also scored for the Stars and Marty Turco made 32 saves.
Edmonton lost its second straight and its sixth out of eight. Zack Stortini produced the Oilers' lone goal.
Morrow tied the game at 7:16 of the second with a one-timer that eluded Dwayne Roloson. Robidas put the Stars in front two minutes later.
Dallas has beaten Edmonton five straight times.
