Holmes leads by two shots at FBR Open

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- J.B. Holmes posted a 5-under 66 in the third round Saturday to take a two-stroke lead at the PGA's FBR Open in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Eight different players held at least a share of the lead during the round. Holmes used three back-nine birdies to finish 54 holes at 14-under 199.

Holmes' lone PGA Tour win came at this event in 2006.

Charles Warren, playing two groups ahead of Holmes, led on the 15th tee. However, a bogey on the 18th left him two back at 12-under 201 after a round of 67.

Warren was joined in second place by Jonathan Byrd, who shot a 68.

Ben Crane (67) and Nick O'Hern (68) share fourth place at 11-under-par 202.
