The Lakers led by only six starting the fourth quarter, but they opened a 15-point advantage just five minutes deep in the period.

Earlier in the day, the Lakers acquired center Pau Gasol from Memphis in exchange for center Kwame Brown, rookie guard Javaris Crittenton, guard Aaron McKie and two first-round draft choices -- as well as the rights to Pau Gasol's brother, Marc Gasol.
