NBA: Boston 117, Miami 87

MIAMI, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Leon Powe had 25 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday, leading the Boston Celtics to a 117-87 victory over the Miami Heat.

The Celtics got the 30-point win without All-Star forward Kevin Garnett, who missed his second straight game due to a strained abdominal muscle, and star guard Ray Allen, who was out with flu-like symptoms.

Rajon Rondo added 23 points for the Celtics, who are an NBA best 35-8. Tony Allen and Eddie House each added 20 points.

Mark Blount had 20 points for the Heat, who have lost 16 of their past 17 games. Luke Jackson had 14 points, while Dwyane Wade scored just seven points on one of nine shooting,
