NBA: Memphis 125, LA Clippers 120 (OT)

MEMPHIS, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Rudy Gay scored a game-high 36 points Saturday to lead the Memphis Grizzlies' 125-120 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The game was as close as the final score indicated after Memphis held the game's only double digit lead (91-80) on Mike Miller's three-pointer with one second left in the third quarter.

Los Angeles' Corey Maggette forced the overtime with a layup to knot the score at 108 with 28 seconds left in regulation.

Miller scored 27 points, Juan Carlos Navarro had 15 points and five rebounds and Hakim Warrick added 17 points and five rebounds for the Grizzlies, who had dropped eight of their previous 10 games.

Maggette led Los Angeles with 35 points and nine rebounds.

Sam Cassell had 25 points and six rebounds.

Tim Thomas had 23 points and eight rebounds while Cuttino Mobley added 15 points and six assists for the Clippers, who suffered their seventh straight road loss.
